This is just part of the Craft Stall at the 2016 St Peters Hospice Christmas Market.  We filled 4 tables.  My craft is on the middle table.  A really well run event, well supported and for an excellent cause.

Jewellery Morning

I ran a dabble morning for Chipping Sodbury WI.

10 ladies spent a productive morning making earrings, brooches and bracelets.

Two methods were used to make the blooches :

  • From Friendly Plastic using a Heat Gun
  • Sewn on Silk as ribbon embroidery and mounted on a large cover button
The earrings and bracelets were made from glass beads.

Country Market

I also bake for Country Markets.  This was taken at one of the Saturday Markets in Portishead.
12th March 2014

Hot Crafts Day School

I ran a dabble day for Avon WI.

8 ladies tried their hands at Gelatine Flowers, Pyrography, Enameling and Friendly Plastic.

All four crafts use heat in various ways, boiling water for the gelatine flowers, a candle over for the enameling, a hot air gun for the friendly plastic and a pyrography pen.

The results of the day were really impressive and everyone went home with a variety of completed items.

Etui Box Workshops

I ran 2 full day workshop at WI House on Keynsham.  15 ladies in total attended.

It was a lot to squeeze into 5 hours and, although not everyone completed their boxes on the day, everyone left at a stage where theu had a minimal amount of work to finish them off.  These are 4 of the finished boxes.
